Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Cybersecurity and IT teams to develop strategies for responding to and recovering from security incidents.
• Investigate and respond to security breaches, compiling forensic analyses and devising counteractive measures.
• Oversee the setup and administration of platforms that consolidate security data and trigger alerts based on threat intelligence.
• Uphold and advance security protocols and guidelines, ensuring alignment with cloud-based collaboration tools' security features.
• Stay informed about emerging security threats and technological developments, integrating insights to suggest effective defenses.
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity training sessions to enhance organizational understanding of cybersecurity practices.
• Provide expert advice and support for security issues encountered by users, focusing on secure internet access.
• Engage with various departments to integrate stringent security measures into new and ongoing projects.
• Manage complex security tasks autonomously, employing data security and analytics to enhance oversight of sensitive information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and industry standards, particularly in real-time threat detection.
• Proficiency with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS.
• Solid knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and web applications, especially in secure cloud-based operations.
• Experience with advanced security platforms including firewalls and anomaly detection systems.
• Familiarity with the latest cybersecurity threats and strategic defense mechanisms.
• Understanding of encryption techniques and zero-trust network architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
