About the position

Radiance Technologies is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support the Department of Defense. The role involves understanding and addressing cybersecurity needs for both hardware and software, contributing to various projects within the Emerging and Disruptive Technologies Group. The analyst will work both at the Radiance facility and on-site at government facilities, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity practices and risk management frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Support various projects in the Emerging and Disruptive Technologies Group.
  • Conduct software and hardware vulnerability analysis on current and future systems.
  • Document government Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements within the eMASS database.
  • Prepare hardware/software for ACAS and Eval-STIG scans.
  • Administer network equipment and ensure network protection best practices are followed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with DOD cybersecurity and information assurance practices.
  • Familiarity with networks and network protection best practices.
  • Experience with ACAS, Eval-STIG scans, and preparing hardware/software for these scans.
  • Understanding of embedded real-time operating systems and best practices for securing them.
  • Security+ Certification (strongly desired) or obtain within 3 months of employment.
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification and Operating Environment Certification.
  • Prior DoD system administrator/network administrator experience.
  • CISSP certification.
  • Army portfolio management system (APMS) experience.
