About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in protecting our organization's information systems and data from cyber threats. This position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, cloud infrastructure, and IT governance. The Cybersecurity Analyst will work collaboratively with various departments to ensure the integrity and security of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide Cybersecurity (CS) vulnerability management services for USMC enterprise networks and systems.
• Oversee and manage Enterprise ACAS implementation.
• Perform vulnerability and compliance scanning, analysis, and reporting using Tenable/ACAS.
• Develop remediation plans and/or mitigation strategies in collaboration with Project Managers, Network and Security Engineers, and System Administrators.
• Evaluate enclaves, systems, and applications for security compliance and recommend security solutions.
• Support the organization IT Portfolio by implementing secure IT capabilities and resources.
• Coordinate analysis and evaluation of systems, applications, and networks to identify capability gaps.
• Support certification and accreditation activities for computer networks and standalone information systems.
• Prepare, maintain, and implement System Security Plans.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of demonstrated experience in cybersecurity and vulnerability management.
• At least six (6) years supporting IT projects and/or systems administration.
• ACAS administration experience.
• Knowledge and experience with current USMC policy and guidance.
• Experience in security testing and management using tools like ACAS and DISA STIG's.
• Networking and system administration experience.
• Proficiency in MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves
