About the position

The Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst at BAE Systems is responsible for architecting and engineering networks and security services for a program that delivers cloud services across multiple classification levels. This role involves designing, testing, and implementing security controls to prevent attacks, ensuring compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards, and managing cybersecurity efforts throughout the RMF process. The analyst will also oversee compliance, manage cloud-based security services, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and networks.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test and implement security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks.
  • Implement Zero Trust architecture.
  • Support adherence to all aspects of a rigorous Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance program.
  • Obtain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals by adhering to RMF.
  • Support cybersecurity efforts throughout the RMF process, including the development and management of System Security documentation and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
  • Assess and audit systems security controls, and perform continuous monitoring of controls.
  • Provide oversight for compliance and ensure execution of a self-inspection program.
  • Ensure all security certification and accreditation documents are up to date.
  • Evaluate operational readiness of communications equipment, network devices, sensors, and intrusion detection equipment.
  • Manage and perform Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and cyber functions (DoDIN operations).
  • Coordinate requirements with responsible personnel and track suspense for completing required actions.
  • Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and networks by implementing security programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Administer security policies to control physical and virtual access to systems.
  • Establish CONOPS and support a security operation center.
  • Manage cloud-based security services to provide end user services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience.
  • DoD 8570.01 IAT/IAM level 2 certification.

  • DoD 8570.01 IAT/IAM level 3 certification.
