About the position

ICI Services is seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to provide cybersecurity expertise to our US Navy client in Panama City, FL. As an Employee-Owned Company, ICI Services specializes in Engineering & Integration, Systems Acquisition, Information Warfare, and In-Service Sustainment for US government clients. The Cybersecurity Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of information systems, particularly in relation to Navy and Department of Defense (DoD) operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and securing IT systems, developing Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages, and ensuring compliance with various cybersecurity standards and regulations. The position requires a strong understanding of Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs), and the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). The Cybersecurity Analyst will also need to be familiar with the Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) 1253 and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) publications, as well as other industry best practices. The role involves working with automated tools such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Hosted Based Security System (HBSS), and Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to support compliance, verification, and validation activities. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as Security+, CISM, or CISSP. The position requires at least 5 years of experience managing IT systems for Navy/DoD clients, making it essential for applicants to have a solid background in cybersecurity practices and tools. The Cybersecurity Analyst will be part of a dedicated team that values strong customer satisfaction and continuous growth, contributing to the overall mission of ICI Services in supporting multiple US Navy organizations and the Department of Homeland Security.

Responsibilities

  • Provide cybersecurity expertise to US Navy clients.
  • Manage and secure Information Technology systems for Navy/DoD clients.
  • Develop Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages for compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs).
  • Support compliance, verification, and validation activities using automated tools such as ACAS, HBSS, and eMASS.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance cybersecurity measures and practices.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience managing Information Technology systems for Navy/DoD clients.
  • Experience developing Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages for US Navy/DoD clients.
  • Understanding of Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), IAVAs, FISMA, CNSSI 1253, and NIST publications.
  • Ability to work with automated tools for compliance and security assessments.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field (preferred).
  • Security+, CISM, or CISSP certification (required).

Nice-to-haves

  • Navy Qualified Validator Level 1, 2 or 3 (preferred).
