About the position

Helios Defense Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team in the accounting industry. This role is crucial in safeguarding clients' sensitive information and maintaining the integrity of financial systems. The Cybersecurity Analyst will identify vulnerabilities within the network and implement security measures to protect valuable data, working closely with the IT department to develop and enforce security protocols, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches.
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system security measures.
• Provide training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity best practices.
• Prepare reports detailing security incidents and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, authentication, and security technologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to the accounting industry.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and methodologies.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
