About the position

The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for analyzing and responding to cybersecurity threats to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of electronic information within the University. This role involves addressing current and anticipated threats, collaborating with various departments, and coordinating incident response efforts with the North Dakota University System.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents.
• Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of electronic information.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate incident response efforts.
• Evaluate risks and implement measures to mitigate cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in cybersecurity analysis and incident response.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
