About the position

Roper Technologies is seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture. This role involves safeguarding critical digital assets against cyber threats, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with various cybersecurity teams. The analyst will engage in incident response, threat management, and configuration reviews across multiple platforms, contributing to the overall security strategy of the company.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts, promptly responding to potential threats
• Assist in identifying, analyzing and addressing potential cybersecurity threats
• Conduct Cyber Health Checks with the Cyber Team (remote and on-site)
• Perform configuration reviews and testing, including the review of cloud platform configurations
• Collaborate with other cyber teams to ensure security best practices are implemented
• Conduct research and analysis on new and emerging threats and vulnerabilities
• Participate in security awareness training and education initiatives

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or related roles
• Bachelor, Master or Technical degree with Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and tools
• Familiarity with operating systems, networking and cloud concepts
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and have strong interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
