About the position

The Cybersecurity and Program Protection Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton is responsible for developing innovative cybersecurity solutions that align with client missions. This role involves addressing complex cybersecurity challenges, mentoring team members, and contributing to the creation of security policies and standards. The analyst will work on risk management frameworks and ensure compliance with various security requirements while supporting the development of secure systems.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage domain knowledge to create cybersecurity solutions aligned to client's mission.
  • Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to develop new principles and concepts.
  • Work on complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
  • Mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.
  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments of new or existing architecture for compliance with security requirements.
  • Create documentation to support information system authorization packages and provide continuous monitoring support.
  • Develop architecture deliverables specific to information security countermeasure implementations.
  • Assist in the development of security policies, standards, and guidance.
  • Implement security controls in embedded systems and avionics according to various requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD cybersecurity guidance.
  • Knowledge of Information System Security Engineering (ISSE) disciplines and techniques.
  • Experience with Access Only Authorization Packages and associated AOs.
  • Knowledge of the System Development Lifecycle and Systems Engineering design principles.
  • Ability to conduct cybersecurity assessments for compliance with security frameworks.
  • Ability to create documentation for information system authorization packages.
  • Ability to develop architecture deliverables for operational systems.
  • Ability to implement security controls in embedded systems and avionics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity.
  • IAT Level II DoD 8140.01 or 8570.01-M Certification.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Technology Protection or Anti-Tamper.
  • Knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, and rapid prototyping practices.
  • Knowledge of position, navigation, and timing (PNT) concepts.
  • Knowledge of Global Positioning System (GPS) concepts.
  • Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) concepts.
  • Knowledge of cloud design, microelectronics, and cybersecurity tools.
