Citi, the leading global bank, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and operates in more than 160 countries and jurisdictions. The Cybersecurity Apprentice Program is a two-year rotational program designed to develop top talent in the cybersecurity and information security fields. This cohort-based opportunity allows new hires to experience different aspects of cybersecurity at Citi. During this program, participants will rotate between four teams, spending six months on each to develop a thorough understanding of their work and functions within Citi's cybersecurity ecosystem. The teams include Cybersecurity Operations, Business, Functions, & Technology Information Security Office, and Cybersecurity Engineering and Architecture. Upon successful completion of the program, qualified candidates could transition full-time into a best-fit cybersecurity team based on organizational needs and skillsets. This program is an excellent opportunity for Cybersecurity Experience, Exposure, and Education at a Financial Institution. As part of the program, apprentices will participate in weekly cohort calls to develop leadership and soft skills, be adaptable to the different CISO teams and their varied work processes, and leverage their knowledge of information security concepts and products to complete both technical and non-technical responsibilities. Candidates must remain highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to embrace change while managing multiple activities in parallel with limited supervision. Working as a partner, they will leverage relationships to influence, negotiate, and deliver results, contributing to the overall mission of keeping the bank safe and providing secure, reliable, and efficient services.
