About the position

The Cybersecurity Architect role at TEKsystems involves leading and developing enterprise cybersecurity projects, focusing on security controls, policies, and practices to protect information assets. The position requires collaboration with various teams to enhance data protection and address cloud security challenges, while also providing subject matter expertise in security system design and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop new or existing enterprise cybersecurity projects.
• Define requirements, documentation, and communication for cybersecurity initiatives.
• Work directly with customers, business units, and IT entities to manage security controls and policies.
• Develop and implement architecture and methodology for Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Enhance data protection and mitigate risks associated with non-secure design and third-party exposure.
• Address and resolve project hindrances related to Azure backlog management.
• Design and implement group taxonomy and naming conventions for security roles.
• Conduct app registration cleanup and manage Azure/On-Prem groups cleanup.
• Execute DNS cleanup and Active Directory synchronization.
• Support modernization efforts and deployment of applications in blue/green environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or related field.
• Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or Azure Security Engineer.
