About the position
The Cybersecurity-Associate role at Intermountain Health involves monitoring and responding to cybersecurity events within the Fusion Center. This position requires interaction with various cybersecurity tools and technologies, as well as the creation and maintenance of detection use cases and incident response playbooks. The associate will work independently to ensure quality and timely results with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Monitors security events and logs from various systems and networks.
- Analyzes logs, network traffic, and data to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Responds to security incidents and threats utilizing established playbooks and incident response procedures.
- Documents cybersecurity incidents and reviews incident reports.
- Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of security threats, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures.
- Receives and responds to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails.
- Collaborates with other cybersecurity teams, IT personnel, and HR teams.
- Participates in 24/7/365 shift coverage.
