About the position

Amyx, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Certification and Accreditation Analyst to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cybersecurity, focusing on the authorization of information systems and compliance with associated policies and procedures. The role involves supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) in its cybersecurity processes, assessing security controls, and briefing senior management on authorization progress.

Responsibilities

• Support the overall DoD implementation of its authorization process, including cybersecurity policy and procedures.
• Authorize information systems or serve as a SME for systems undergoing authorization.
• Assess and apply NIST 800-53 security controls to large organizations' IT infrastructure.
• Determine severity values for identified vulnerabilities and their implications on system authorization.
• Brief senior management on the progress or results of information systems undergoing authorization.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of relevant C&A experience.
• Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST C&A processes.
• DoD cybersecurity experience.
• DoD Secret Clearance.
• Eligibility for IT-II certification.
• Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570.01 IAM level III or IAT level II.
• Experience in assessing security controls and conducting authorization reviews for large organizations.

• Experience with eMASS, ArcSight, Stigviewer, SCAP, Cloud Computing, Mobility, IOT/SCADA/ICS, RSA Archer, ACAS/HBSS.
