The Cybersecurity Change Management Consultant will join the Technology CyberSecurity Division's Platform Management team, which provides platform management and service operations as well as operational reliability engineering support for the CyberSecurity organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that our change management processes are effective and that we maintain a high level of operational integrity in our cybersecurity initiatives. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can ramp up quickly and deliver results in less defined and constantly changing environments. They will need to demonstrate proven strength in building high organizational awareness, autonomously navigating the organization, and engaging key stakeholders. The role requires a confident and effective communicator who can convey information concisely to both executive-level leadership and line management, both verbally and in writing. Building relationships and partnerships to achieve risk goals while avoiding any 'us vs. them' perception from line managers is essential. In this position, the consultant will evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter expertise for technology initiatives. They will support change, incident, and problem management routines, which include facilitating meetings, documenting approvals, and reporting on project statuses. The consultant will also lead the maintenance of process or systems documentation, monitor project schedules, and establish controls to prevent, identify, and address risks within the organization. Compliance with these controls will be monitored, and applicable evidence will be gathered to ensure adherence to established protocols. Other projects may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives.
  • Support change, incident, and problem management routines, including facilitation of meetings and documentation of approvals.
  • Lead and maintain process or systems documentation, and monitor project schedules and deliverables.
  • Establish controls and processes to prevent, identify, and address risks in the organization.
  • Monitor compliance with controls, gathering applicable evidence.
  • Engage in other projects as identified.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 2+ years of problem, incident, and change management experience.
  • 2+ years' experience in risk management, IT Governance, compliance, regulatory, or audit function.
  • 2+ years' experience in process documentation.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office product suite, including PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
