About the position

The Cybersecurity Chief of Staff will support the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the cybersecurity team by overseeing daily operations, strategic planning, and coordination of cybersecurity initiatives across the organization. This role requires a strong background in cybersecurity, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CISO in developing and implementing the organization's cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee the daily operations of the cybersecurity team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Lead and manage cybersecurity projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Develop, review, and update cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks, ensuring the protection of the organization's information assets.
• Serve as a liaison between the cybersecurity team and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
• Coordinate and manage the response to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees at all levels.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cybersecurity initiatives and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
