About the position

The Cybersecurity Co-op position at Leidos involves working within the High Fidelity Simulation program, focusing on developing and implementing advanced cybersecurity solutions for naval training and simulation systems. This role offers co-op students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment, contributing to systems that support the U.S. Navy. The position emphasizes continuous learning and the application of cybersecurity skills in real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of defensive cybersecurity solutions for naval training systems.
• Assess and upgrade Linux servers and workstations.
• Contribute to the implementation of large-scale System of Systems solutions for simulation and training products.
• Work collaboratively with a high-powered team to deliver impactful results for the U.S. Navy.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Demonstrated skills in Linux and cybersecurity.
• Availability to work full-time for at least 7 months as a co-op.
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government granted security clearance.
