About the position

The Cybersecurity Co-op position at Leidos involves working within the High Fidelity Simulation program, focusing on developing and implementing advanced cybersecurity solutions for naval training and simulation systems. This role offers co-op students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technology while contributing to significant projects that support the US Navy. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of defensive cybersecurity solutions for naval training systems.
  • Assess and upgrade Linux servers and workstations.
  • Contribute to the architecture and implementation of large-scale System of Systems solutions.
  • Participate in the delivery of training systems used by US Navy Fleet personnel.
  • Engage in continuous learning and skill development throughout the co-op experience.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical degree.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2.
  • Demonstrated skills in Linux and cybersecurity.
  • Availability to work at least 7 months full-time as a co-op.
  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government granted security clearance.
