About the position

As an intern in our management consulting team, you will engage in hands-on experiences that deepen your technical knowledge in cybersecurity. This role involves assisting clients with complex cybersecurity challenges, including audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews, while also developing client relationships and participating in business development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with cybersecurity and IT audit challenges.
  • Conduct SOC examinations to evaluate business process controls and IT general controls.
  • Perform IT risk assessments and related controls-based auditing.
  • Conduct compliance reviews for regulations such as GLBA, SOX, and HIPAA.
  • Assist with cybersecurity standards maturity assessments like NIST and PCI DSS.
  • Handle periodic projects including research and special analysis as requested by managers and partners.
  • Develop relationships with clients and participate in networking/business development activities.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, information security, business administration, finance, management information systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • On track to complete the requisite degree and obtain relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CISA).
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
