About the position

As an intern in our management consulting team, you will engage in hands-on experiences that deepen your technical knowledge in cybersecurity. This role is designed to provide you with dynamic project assignments that address critical business needs, focusing on cybersecurity challenges and compliance reviews. You will be treated as an entry-level staff member, gaining valuable insights and skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with cybersecurity and IT audit challenges.
• Conduct SOC examinations to evaluate business process controls and IT general controls.
• Perform IT risk assessments and related controls-based auditing.
• Carry out compliance reviews for regulations such as GLBA, SOX, and HIPAA.
• Conduct maturity assessments for cybersecurity standards like NIST, PCI DSS, and ISO.
• Support periodic projects by assisting with research and special analyses requested by managers and partners.
• Develop relationships with clients and participate in networking and business development activities.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, information security, business administration, finance, management information systems, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• On track to complete the requisite degree and obtain relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CISA).
