About the position

As a Cybersecurity Consultant at Presidio, you will empower businesses to thrive amidst cyber threats by acting as a trusted advisor. Your role involves translating client business needs into robust security architectures and implementing solutions that protect valuable data. This position requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and a collaborative approach to client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Understand client business goals, risk tolerance, and existing infrastructure through workshops and analysis.
• Design tailored security strategies including network security, endpoint protection, data loss prevention, and incident response plans.
• Participate in the sales cycle from qualification to proposal development, collaborating with account managers.
• Research emerging threats and technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/military experience.
• Minimum of 10+ years' experience in a Cybersecurity role involving design and implementation of complex solutions.
• Strong foundation in security principles, architectures, and technologies with hands-on experience in network security, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative approach to working with teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Leading industry certifications such as CISSP, CCIE-Security, CISA, CISM, CEH, CHP, SANS, PCI-QSA are preferred.
• Previous experience in a pre-sales role.
• Experience working for a systems integrator.
