About the position

The Cybersecurity Consulting Manager at Weaver is responsible for assessing strategy and risk, developing cybersecurity programs, and conducting comprehensive risk assessments for clients. This role involves analyzing security postures, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing tailored recommendations to mitigate risks. The position allows for remote or hybrid work and requires travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for clients.
  • Develop strategic cybersecurity programs tailored to client needs.
  • Analyze clients' current security posture and identify vulnerabilities.
  • Provide recommendations to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Assess the effectiveness of security controls and coordinate penetration testing.
  • Evaluate incident response capabilities based on real-world cyber incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • CISSP or CISM certification.
  • 5+ years of Consulting, Technology, IT, or Security experience.
  • Significant experience in assessing and recommending security principles and controls.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Experience leading client interviews and communicating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of information security standards such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and ISO 27001.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience designing security controls for multi-tier business solutions.
  • Understanding of Active Directory and IDaaS technologies.
  • Experience integrating security technologies into business architectures.
  • Familiarity with REST API and microservices architecture.
  • Technical understanding of cloud infrastructure and security configurations in AWS and Azure.
  • Cloud security certifications such as AZ-300 Azure Architect Technologies or similar.
  • Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
