About the position

The Cybersecurity Content Developer at F5 Networks is responsible for creating and delivering role-based security training to enhance the cybersecurity awareness and skills of employees across various departments. This position focuses on developing engaging content and training programs that align with the organization's cybersecurity policies and standards, ensuring that employees are well-informed about security practices and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive cybersecurity training campaigns tailored to various employee groups.
  • Create engaging content, including newsletters, posters, videos, and interactive modules to reinforce security requirements.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars on cybersecurity topics.
  • Collaborate with security engineering and threat intelligence teams to understand current threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Design and distribute regular updates on relevant learnings from security incidents, policy changes, and emerging threats.
  • Maintain a consistent communication strategy to keep all employees informed and engaged.
  • Write, edit, and proofread cybersecurity content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Manage and update the organization's cybersecurity role-based security training materials and resources.
  • Maintain awareness of external regulations and industry standards for new or modified requirements.
  • Use analytics to measure the effectiveness of training campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Work closely with HR, Technology Services, and other departments to integrate cybersecurity role-based training into onboarding and ongoing training programs.
  • Provide support for cybersecurity-related queries and concerns from employees.
  • Assist in the development/revisions of Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity content development and training.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and informative training materials.
  • Experience with analytics to measure training effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with external regulations and industry standards such as FedRAMP, GDPR, PCI-DSS, CCPA, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a global organization.
  • Knowledge of secure coding techniques and risk management practices.
  • Familiarity with various training delivery methods, including e-learning and in-person workshops.
