About the position

The Cybersecurity Content Developer and Training Specialist at F5 is responsible for maintaining and supporting various cybersecurity programs, including risk management, compliance, and security training. This role focuses on developing and delivering engaging content to educate employees in specialized roles about cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures. The position aims to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture through effective training and communication strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement role-based security training campaigns tailored to various employee groups.
  • Create engaging content such as newsletters, posters, videos, and interactive modules to reinforce security requirements.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars on cybersecurity topics.
  • Collaborate with security engineering and threat intelligence teams to understand current threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Design and distribute regular updates on relevant learnings from security incidents and policy changes.
  • Maintain a consistent communication strategy to keep all employees informed and engaged.
  • Write, edit, and proofread cybersecurity content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Manage and update the organization's cybersecurity training materials and resources.
  • Monitor internal compliance against information security governance frameworks through assessments.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on training program outcomes and metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a security-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity training, communications, or a related role.
  • Experience in developing and delivering a role-based security training program.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using communication and learning management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Industry relevant certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM are preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of common compliance frameworks like CIS Critical Controls, NIST SP800, ISO27001.
