About the position

The Cyber Operations Specialist at Erias Ventures is responsible for conducting hands-on vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats. This role requires a deep understanding of security best practices and the ability to perform technical assessments of applications and infrastructure. The specialist will work collaboratively in a team environment to analyze current and emerging cyber threats, contributing to the overall system engineering life-cycle and ensuring mission resiliency against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on interactive vulnerability assessments to mitigate possible threats.
• Conduct technical assessments of applications and infrastructure, including security design reviews and risk assessments.
• Analyze information security events and apply network defense tactics and techniques.
• Assess information network threats such as computer viruses, exploits, and malicious attacks.
• Collaborate with team members to research and analyze current and emerging cyber threats.
• Define requirements, test concepts, and collect data for assessments and tests.
• Participate in the overall system engineering life-cycle and framework for mission resiliency against cyber threats.
• Review and produce technical documentation regarding requirements, analysis, design, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• Current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required.
• Five years of demonstrated experience as a Cyber Operations Specialist on similar programs and contracts.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or other InfoSec disciplines.
• DOD 8140 (8570) IAT Level 3 certification required (CASP+CE, CCNP, CISA, CISSP, GCED or GCIH).
