About the position

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis on data to improve cybersecurity efforts.
• Develop and report on key performance indicators for the cybersecurity program.
• Examine data from various sources to provide insights into security processes.
• Design, document, and implement custom algorithms and workflow processes.
• Extract data from various databases and perform exploratory data analysis.
• Cleanse, massage, and aggregate data for analysis.
• Employ scaling and automation techniques for data preparation.
• Determine analytics approaches to solve cybersecurity problems.
• Connect insights to security decision-making options and research opportunities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 1 year in data analysis.
• Knowledge of Splunk SPL.
• Technical writing skills.
• Associate's degree with at least 2 years of experience in data security analysis.
