About the position

The Cybersecurity Data Quality Analyst position focuses on supporting the development, maintenance, and enforcement of cybersecurity data standards. The role involves regular reviews of data quality and reporting on the health of the judiciary's cybersecurity data, while collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders to optimize dataflows for quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of cybersecurity data standards.
  • Regularly review data to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Report on the overall health of the judiciary's cybersecurity data.
  • Work with stakeholders to optimize dataflows for data quality.
  • Examine data from various sources to provide insights into agency mission/security processes.
  • Design, document, and implement custom algorithms and workflow processes.
  • Extract data from various databases and perform exploratory data analysis.
  • Cleanse, massage, and aggregate data for analysis.
  • Employ scaling and automation techniques for data preparation.
  • Determine analytics approaches to solve security-related problems.
  • Connect insights to security decision-making options and research opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in data standards management.
  • Knowledge of Splunk.
