About the position

The Cybersecurity Engineer III position at Imagine One Technology & Management involves supporting the U.S. Navy in Charleston, South Carolina, focusing on cybersecurity policy compliance, risk assessment, and remediation strategies. This role requires extensive experience in cybersecurity measures and the ability to respond to security breaches effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network.
• Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.
• Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of ten (10) years of notable experience in cybersecurity policy preparation, implementation, and compliance, including Assessment and Authorization (A&A) requirements.
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent.
• IAT Level III Certification, satisfied by any one of the following: CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• ACTIVE DoD Top Secret Clearance.
