About the position

The Cybersecurity Engineer III position at Oneida Technical Solutions involves providing engineering services to support the Business and Enterprise Information Systems Division within the Department of Navy. The role focuses on preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, particularly in highly regulated environments. The selected candidate will be responsible for enhancing cyber defense measures, assessing vulnerabilities, and responding to security breaches, all while maintaining a cyber-resilient network.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy, including Assessment and Authorization requirements.
• Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense.
• Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.
• Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience with cybersecurity engineering.
• Must meet DOD Baseline certification requirements - Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I per DoD 8570.1M.
• Must possess a TS/SCI level clearance.
