As a Cybersecurity Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a crucial role as a cyber mission specialist, leveraging your expertise in cyberspace operations to create impactful solutions on a global scale. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough cyber risk assessments and evaluating potential weaknesses in network security. You will collaborate with your team to utilize cyberspace operations systems, aggregating threat feeds that will inform briefings for senior leadership, ensuring alignment with mission needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your research and analytical skills to assess and inform operators and senior leadership about dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures relevant to the mission. Your contributions will be vital in developing operational plans that support command and control, making you an integral part of critical global cyber missions. In this role, you will be expected to have a strong foundation in Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. You will need to be proficient in using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), or Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS). Familiarity with networking, including Cisco or Juniper network devices, and network security implementation is essential. Additionally, you should have experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, or Linux systems, including RHEL, Ubuntu, Solarwinds, and McAfee Host-Based Security System (HBSS). Your knowledge of NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 RMF Analysis and Accreditation will be critical in ensuring compliance and security standards are met. You will also be responsible for writing final-version deliverable technical documents and reports, which will require strong written communication skills. A Secret clearance is required for this position, along with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
