About the position

The position involves working within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Global team at Lockheed Martin, focusing on engineering, developing, and integrating capabilities for the Missile Defense System. The role is critical in ensuring cybersecurity measures are implemented effectively, including account management, system assessments, and compliance with security policies. The candidate will collaborate with a diverse team and support various cybersecurity tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Processing and tracking DD Form 2875 user account forms and required training for privileged and non-privileged accounts.
  • Performing assessment of systems and networks within a virtual environment to identify deviations from acceptable configurations.
  • Conducting Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) assessments and hardening for Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, and networking equipment.
  • Developing test plans reflecting how STIG checks are implemented and showing expected outcomes.
  • Updating Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifact documentation to track and remediate non-compliance.
  • Validating established cybersecurity controls and recommending safeguards.
  • Supporting program test milestones through preparations, participation, analysis, and artifact preparation.
  • Coordinating across the program to address deficiencies during RMF assessment activities.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance required to start.
  • IAT Level II/ IAM Level I DoD 8570 certification (Sec+ CE or similar).
  • Security engineering skills with knowledge of cybersecurity technology and DoD/Federal cybersecurity policy.
  • Understanding and utilization of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) Cybersecurity Lifecycle including controls and overlays, testable requirements, and resilient architecture design.
  • Experience with Software Assurance (SwA) static and dynamic code analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration skills.
  • Previous experience in a virtual environment.
  • Experience with dockers and containers.
  • Administering ACAS and ESS (formally HBSS).
  • Experience with ConfigOS.
