About the position

The Cybersecurity Engineer position at Data Systems Analysts, Inc. involves supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency's Organizational Messaging Service program at Fort Detrick, MD. The role requires applying security patches, changing system configurations, and ensuring compliance with various security standards and frameworks. The position is hybrid, requiring three days of onsite work each week.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of cybersecurity professionals to support the DISA's Organizational Messaging Service program.
• Apply patches and change system configurations, including Group/Local Policy and Windows registry.
• Resolve security findings on systems and deploy Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) modules.
• Support the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) process by providing responses to security controls and gathering evidence.
• Ensure compliance of systems with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), ACAS Scans, and IAVAs.

Requirements

• Experience with Active Directory, including deploying changes via Group/Local Policy and the registry.
• Experience utilizing PowerShell Script and batch commands.
• Experience with DISA's Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Current Secret clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SSBI with SCI clearance.
• DoD 8570 qualified certification (e.g., Security+).
• Attention to detail and excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Nice-to-haves

• System Administration experience.
• Experience with CYBERCOM's Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) notices.
• Experience with installing and configuring DISA's Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
• Experience with DoD's Endpoint Security Solution (ESS).
• Working knowledge of public key infrastructure and encryption systems.
