About the position

As an IT Security Analyst at FIS, you will play a crucial role in protecting sensitive financial data from cyber threats. This position is part of the Data Protection team, where you will work closely with application teams and external partners to ensure the security of data both at rest and in transit. You will be involved in administering data protection tools, managing cryptographic keys, and responding to security incidents in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Transparent and Application-Level data protection tools such as Voltage SecureData and CipherTrust Manager.
  • Manage cryptographic key lifecycle and key management tools deployed on cloud and on-premises.
  • Assist server administrators in installing and uninstalling encryption agents on various platforms including Windows, Linux, and AIX.
  • Monitor and respond to alerts related to data protection tools.
  • Troubleshoot data protection-related incidents and respond to information security inquiries.
  • Interface with the user community to understand security needs and implement necessary procedures.
  • Maintain security systems and administer security policies to control access to systems.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards for internal and external audits.
  • Represent configuration changes and major upgrades in change control processes.
  • Coordinate with patching teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in daily standup meetings to discuss ongoing tasks and collaborate with team members.
  • Work with vendors to report and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ensure all documentation is up to date.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator, focusing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with relational database systems such as Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Experience or knowledge of Transparent data encryption tools such as Vormetric/CipherTrust.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security technologies (encryption, data protection, privilege access, etc.).
  • Thorough understanding of Information security policies, controls, and processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Understanding of PCI DSS and privacy laws such as GDPR.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly, both written and verbally.
