About the position

The Cybersecurity Engineer position is focused on managing and securing network infrastructure within an organization. The role involves implementing, troubleshooting, and enhancing network security measures to protect against cyber threats. The engineer will work with various network appliances and tools to ensure the integrity and security of the network, while also being involved in incident response and vulnerability assessments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage network infrastructure including routers and switches.
• Troubleshoot network issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Implement network security strategies using tools like CISCO ISE and AAA Framework.
• Manage and utilize network security appliances such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and NAC.
• Conduct threat detection and vulnerability assessments.
• Develop and maintain a Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan/Program.
• Implement deception technology such as honeypots and honeynets.
• Perform data analysis related to network security and incidents.

Requirements

• Understanding of network concepts including subnetting, protocols, and the OSI model.
• Experience in implementing and managing network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of network security tools and strategies.
• Experience with network security appliances.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and practices.
• Familiarity with BGP, OSPF, and switching (Cisco).
• Knowledge of physical access control systems and video management systems.
• Experience with virtualization and infrastructure (Vmware, Virtual Switches).
• Knowledge of endpoint credential management and privileged access management.
• Experience with cybersecurity incident response and threat detection.
