The Project Cybersecurity Engineer at Cyient serves as the primary point of contact for all cybersecurity-related matters within the project. This role is pivotal in establishing a robust Cybersecurity Management Plan tailored to the specific needs of the project. The engineer will analyze the security requirements of the project, taking into account relevant laws and local regulations, to determine the security objectives and identify the main security risks. This involves planning security activities throughout the development lifecycle and identifying necessary training needs for the team involved in the project. In addition to these responsibilities, the Project Cybersecurity Engineer is accountable for the cost, quality, and timely delivery of cybersecurity deliverables, ensuring they align with the project's context. This includes conducting a thorough Cybersecurity Risk Analysis, defining the Cybersecurity Architecture, and allocating requirements effectively. The engineer will also be responsible for cascading requirements to suppliers, managing third-party risks, and applying the Cybersecurity Assurance Level. Furthermore, the role involves defining Cybersecurity Operating Procedures and evaluating the achieved Cybersecurity level of the project to ensure compliance and effectiveness. The position requires a deep understanding of various cybersecurity domains, including Cybersecurity Analytics, Cybersecurity Assessment, Cybersecurity Controls, Cybersecurity Operations, Cybersecurity Policy, Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, and Cybersecurity Strategy Development. The engineer will also be involved in providing Cyber Security Training to ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain a secure project environment.
