About the position

The Cybersecurity Engineer position at VTG involves providing professional support services for the planning, design, construction, delivery, and testing of ships under the Guided Missile Frigate Program Office. The role focuses on ensuring the cybersecurity of networks associated with the FFG, requiring coordination with various stakeholders to maintain accreditation and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate Guided Missile Frigate Information Assurance Accreditation.
• Coordinate with Shipbuilders, PARMs, NAVSEA CIO, and other stakeholders to accredit and maintain the accreditation of the networks for the FFG.
• Perform successfully in non-routine and sometimes complicated situations with only periodic high-level guidance.

Requirements

• ISSD CSWF Qualifying Graduate degree from an accredited University or meet certification minimum requirement.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or meet degree minimum requirement.
• 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity.
• Information Systems Security Developer (ISSD) (Advanced) (CSWF Work Role ID: 631 (NIST: SP-SYS-001)).
• Secret Clearance.
