About the position

The Cybersecurity Engineer position at Imagine One Technology & Management involves supporting the U.S. Navy in Charleston, South Carolina. This mid-level role focuses on ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, implementing security measures, and responding to security breaches. The position is contingent upon the award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network.
• Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.
• Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of notable experience in cybersecurity policy preparation, implementation, and compliance, including Assessment and Authorization (A&A) requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent.
• IAT Level II Certification, satisfied by any one of the following: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CND, SSCP, CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP.
