About the position
TestPros is seeking Cybersecurity Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a CISA cyber security program, focusing on roles such as Information System Security Officers (ISSO), Information System Security Engineers (ISSE), Security Control Assessors (SCA), and cyber engineers/analysts. This full-time position primarily offers remote work with occasional requirements in Portsmouth, VA, and requires an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Support the CISA cyber security program as a Cybersecurity SME.
- Conduct vulnerability and risk management assessments.
- Provide guidance on Security Management policies and directives.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) reporting.
- Resolve Information Assurance (IA) problems and convey complex information assurance data to government audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5-7 years of related experience; or an Associate's degree with 10 years of experience.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Expertise in vulnerability and risk management.
- Experience with Security Management policy guidance and directives.
- Knowledge of current and emerging information assurance security practices.
- Experience with DISA and IA problem resolution.
- Excellent oral communication skills and proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification.
Nice-to-haves
- Demonstrate Computer Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
- Knowledge of DHS and USCG policies and procedures prescribed in DHS 4300A and USCG COMDTINST 5230.67.
