The Cybersecurity Futures Analyst position at Offutt AFB, NE, involves providing Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) to the NC3 Enterprise Center. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and manage NC3 operations, ensuring enterprise-wide visibility and assessing both operational and technical risks. The analyst will actively engage with NC3 Enterprise Stakeholders to develop, present, and advocate for future capabilities, risk management options, and prioritization recommendations to high-level officials, including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and the Deputy Secretary of Defense (DepSecDef). This position requires a deep understanding of systems analysis, systems engineering, technical analysis, solution integration, operations assessment, and risk management, all of which are critical to supporting the mission of CDRUSSTRATCOM in planning and executing Strategic Deterrence and NC3 operations as outlined in the National Defense Strategy. The focus of this task order is to leverage subject matter expertise in various areas, including conducting comprehensive systems analysis, identifying future threats to cybersecurity, and forecasting their long-term implications. The analyst will be responsible for producing finished assessments, both open-source and classified, and will need to perform complex search queries in relevant databases to facilitate research and analysis. Maintaining the currency of research stores and ensuring the accuracy of information is paramount in this role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, particularly in researching and analyzing future threats, and will be expected to work independently while contributing to a dynamic team environment.
