As a Cybersecurity Information Security Analyst at IPTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) functions. This position is based on-site in Sioux City, IA, and is designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and eager to apply their skills to solve complex business problems. In this position, you will provide Functional Mission Analysis-Cyber (FMA-C) assistance, which involves identifying the critical information technology architecture and supporting infrastructure that aids the warfighting mission. Familiarity with the Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS) and similar databases, such as the Strategic Mission Assurance Database System (SMADS), is essential. You will also need to possess in-depth knowledge of various technical resources related to emerging cyber tools and capabilities necessary for performing FMA and supporting assessments, including open-source technologies. This role may also present additional opportunities at various locations, including Scott, Sioux City, Pittsburgh, and others. Your responsibilities will include investigating a diverse collection of network activities in cyberspace, developing strategies to identify and minimize risks in the local cyberspace environment, and creating and implementing techniques to display relevant Mission Relevant Terrain Cyber (MRT-C). You will assist with FMA-C by identifying, mapping, and developing defense plans to safeguard MRT-C, as well as maintaining databases to monitor systems and facilitate easier searches. Additionally, you will review and recommend new or revised policies and procedures, analyze network alerts, perform vulnerability assessments, and document incidents while conducting cyber defense trend analysis and reporting.
