About the position
Hexcel is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Intern for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for various obligations related to cybersecurity, contributing to the company's vulnerability remediation plan and assisting with security investigations and audits.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Hexcel's vulnerability remediation plan
- Investigate suspicious emails
- Investigate security alerts from Hexcel's security tools
- Threat Hunt with Hexcel security tools
- Assist in basic cybersecurity requests
- Work with other teams to remediate security issues
- Work on various cybersecurity audit requirements
- Tune Hexcel security tooling
- Generate security reports for Hexcel leadership
Requirements
- Currently enrolled or completed a cybersecurity program
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Windows 10
- Knowledge of Server 2016
- Basic Knowledge of Cybersecurity terminology
- Understanding of PowerShell
- Knowledge of Network Fundamentals
- Knowledge of CVE Vulnerabilities
- Knowledge of Mitre ATT&CK Framework
