About the position

The Cybersecurity Lead Project Manager (CPjM) - Subject Matter Expert is responsible for overseeing cybersecurity efforts at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This role involves coordinating various cybersecurity tasks, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, software testing, and vulnerability management. The CPjM will utilize Agile Project Management methodologies to ensure project execution aligns with government requirements and standards. The position requires a strong background in cybersecurity, project management, and cloud migration, along with the ability to provide compliance reports and manage cybersecurity readiness efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate support tasks for all related Cybersecurity efforts including RMF, Cyber Security Readiness, software testing, and vulnerability management.
  • Utilize Agile Project Management methodologies in project execution based on a defined project WBS diagram, project plan, and schedule.
  • Evaluate an application's security architecture and provide guidance on updating the ATO.
  • Support all other pillars with input to their initiated projects to ensure all tasks are documented and estimated for work efforts.
  • Coordinate RMF authorization and maintain eMASS artifacts according to the continuous monitoring strategy.
  • Provide IAVA, IAVM, MTO, CTO, NOTAMS, ACAS, STIGs, and CCRI health/compliance reports to the government.
  • Coordinate and assign vulnerability and compliance scanning tickets with appropriate personnel.
  • Track and plan all Cyber Security Readiness Efforts and attend all related meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ten (10) years of relevant experience in cybersecurity and project management.
  • Active Secret clearance is required.
  • CISSP certification is required.

  • Experience with security frameworks and standards
  • Familiarity with security monitoring and incident response
