About the position
The Cybersecurity MDR Intern position at Tyler Technologies involves researching current attack trends, tracking malware sources, and identifying potential compromises in clients' network infrastructures. Interns will work collaboratively with the MDR team to ensure timely and high-quality reporting to clients, respond to real-time security alerts, and provide Tier 1 support for client requests.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality analysis of Tyler MDR clients' logs: firewalls, operating systems, web servers, etc.
- Remain up to date on current information security trends and research techniques in the industry.
- Possess excellent time management skills.
- Function effectively in a team environment.
- Display excellent written and verbal skills.
- Provide additional assistance as needed when staffing or workload issues arise.
- Communicate with clients in a prompt and professional manner.
- Provide high quality service to MDR clients as necessary.
- Assist MDR Team Lead(s)/Manager(s) in identifying potential quality related issues.
- Assist MDR Threat Detection Analyst in identifying potential threat detection related issues.
- Other duties as assigned by Tyler MDR leadership.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology, Cyber Security or similar
- Familiarity with Information Security
- Working computer networking knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
