About the position

The Cybersecurity Metrics Analyst will play a crucial role within the Cybersecurity Metrics and Reporting team at iSoftTek Solutions Inc. This position is based in Fort Worth, TX, and operates in a hybrid work environment. The primary responsibility of the Cybersecurity Metrics Analyst is to coordinate and oversee the cybersecurity metrics program for the organization. This involves assisting in the identification, measurement, and analysis of various cybersecurity metrics, as well as supporting the ongoing development and implementation of the metrics framework. In this role, the analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including metric owners, technical teams, cybersecurity product teams, and executive stakeholders. The goal is to ensure the successful maintenance of cybersecurity risk metrics and to enhance their visibility to leadership. The analyst will be expected to pull, test, and report on cybersecurity metrics regularly, ensuring that these metrics align with business requirements and provide valuable insights into the organization's cybersecurity posture. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling them to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in cybersecurity data. They will also need to communicate complex cybersecurity metric concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that all parties understand the implications of the metrics being reported. Attention to detail is paramount, as the analyst will be responsible for producing accurate and high-quality metrics reports for leadership, including presentations to the Board level.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the cybersecurity metrics program.
  • Assist in the identification, measurement, and analysis of cybersecurity metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
  • 3+ years of experience in identifying, measuring, analyzing, and reporting cybersecurity metrics.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Experience working in multiple cybersecurity domains to understand relevant metrics and their implications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in cybersecurity data.
  • Experience with pulling, testing, and reporting cybersecurity metrics regularly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality metrics reports.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices related to cybersecurity metrics and reporting.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework or ISO 27001.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in using data analysis and visualization tools such as MS Office and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity risk assessment methodologies and tools.
