About the position

As a Cybersecurity Network Governance (CNG) Engineer at Fiserv, you will be an integral part of our dedicated Cyber Network Security team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that firewall configurations and network communications comply with both external regulations and internal policies and standards. This role involves a variety of functions, including conducting network communication risk analyses and ensuring compliance with various external regulatory reporting requirements. You will also play a crucial role in evaluating the security of current network communications, both internally and in interactions with Fiserv's external customers. In this position, you will review pre-change firewall requests to ensure that the requested updates adhere to established policies and standards. Post-change, you will perform audits on existing firewall policies to verify that the changes have been implemented as requested. Additionally, you will identify potential risks and submit your findings for tracking remediation with application owners in other Cybersecurity groups. Your role will also involve maximizing workflow, accessibility, and document sharing through customized solutions using SharePoint, as well as designing, creating, and maintaining flows, actions, and triggers within the platform. This position is critical in maintaining the integrity and security of our network infrastructure, and you will be expected to leverage your expertise in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to enhance our cybersecurity posture.

Responsibilities

• Review pre-change firewall requests to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Perform audits on existing firewall policies post-change to verify implementation accuracy.
• Identify potential risks and submit findings for remediation tracking with application owners.
• Maximize workflow, accessibility, and document sharing using customized SharePoint solutions.
• Design, create, and maintain flows, actions, and triggers in SharePoint.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance, specifically in auditing.
• 3+ years of experience with NIST and PCI frameworks, and Microsoft SharePoint 360 suite.
• 3 years of technical knowledge of network firewalls.
• 2+ years of experience in governing firewalls and auditing IT.
• 2 years of experience implementing the OSI model.
• 1+ year of experience with programming languages, Power Automate, and Power Shell.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information assurance, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Auditing Certification such as CISM, CISSP, or Security+.
• 1+ years of experience in an Infrastructure background and Defense in Depth (multiple products capturing risk) and 3 Tier Data Center Network Infrastructure.
• 1 year of experience with Palo Alto.
