About the position

The Cybersecurity Operational Technology (OT) Expert will play a pivotal role in enhancing the security and performance of operational technology systems. This position involves leading the integration and implementation of OT solutions, particularly focusing on Defender for OT and Claroty. The expert will be responsible for developing and enforcing robust OT security policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards. A key aspect of this role is designing and implementing network segmentation strategies between OT and IT environments, which is essential for improving operational efficiency and security. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Cybersecurity OT Expert will provide expert guidance on the selection, deployment, and management of OT technologies and infrastructure. This includes driving the development and growth of OT teams, which encompasses hiring, training, and mentoring team members to build a successful and capable team. The expert will also conduct comprehensive security audits and assessments, offering actionable insights to mitigate risks and reduce vulnerabilities. Collaboration is crucial in this role, as the expert will work closely with multi-functional teams, including IT, cybersecurity, and engineering, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of OT systems with business objectives. Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, the expert will guide them through the complexities of cybersecurity in OT/IT environments and assist in developing strategies for debt reduction. Staying abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity, OT, and technology debt management is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration and implementation of OT solutions, focusing on Defender for OT and Claroty, to enhance system security and performance.
  • Develop and enforce robust OT security policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Design and implement network segmentation strategies between OT and IT environments to improve operational efficiency and security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in OT systems integration, including hands-on experience with Defender for OT and Claroty.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, with demonstrable success in OT Security.
  • Solid understanding of network architecture, including experience in network segmentation between OT and IT environments.
  • Proven track record of developing and leading OT teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS) security standards and practices.
  • Certification in relevant technologies such as Sentinel, Fortinet, and Microsoft.
