About the position

The Cybersecurity Operations Analyst for Caesars is responsible for implementing the Cybersecurity program and strategy at a tactical and operational level across various domains including network, infrastructure, applications, and databases. This role is crucial in ensuring that security controls are functioning efficiently and effectively, particularly in areas such as security logging, monitoring, alert management, incident handling, and vulnerability and configuration management. The analyst will support the Cybersecurity Team in conducting security research and development, product evaluations, consulting, project support, and other operational tasks necessary to meet the overall requirements of the cybersecurity program and strategy. In this position, the analyst will participate in establishing and implementing security-related standards, procedures, and guidelines that are essential for securing the existing environment. Key responsibilities include documenting all security procedures, assisting the Cybersecurity Engineering team in providing future technology direction, and analyzing existing data security policies to identify areas for improvement. The analyst will also be responsible for maintaining optimal system performance, conducting ongoing analysis of applications to assess the impact of security mechanisms, and participating in all Incident Response activities, which include evidence collection, root cause analysis, reporting, and recovery tasks. Additionally, the analyst will enhance the security team's capabilities by planning solution delivery, mentoring less experienced team members, and determining security requirements through evaluations of business strategies and conducting risk assessments. The role also involves analyzing security systems, implementing security measures, maintaining compliance with standards and policies, and preparing system security reports.
