About the position

The Cybersecurity Operations Analyst II at CACI plays a critical role in supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) by providing cybersecurity incident response and analysis. This position involves coordinating and implementing response activities during cybersecurity incidents, collaborating with various stakeholders, and documenting actions taken to ensure effective incident management and reporting. The analyst will also perform malware analysis, develop reports, and execute defensive measures on NGA networks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement tasks for cybersecurity incident response.
• Perform analysis and document response activities during incidents.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and counterintelligence personnel for incident investigation.
• Produce security incident reports and categorize incidents and events.
• Coordinate with other organizations to ensure proper incident reporting and containment.
• Build timelines and documents to inform stakeholders of incident response actions.
• Develop and update reports in authorized reporting systems as directed.
• Perform digital media analysis on host, server, and network data.
• Develop indicators of compromise for cybersecurity stakeholders.
• Provide adversary attribution and perform malware analysis.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen with an Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Required to obtain a CI Poly within 6 months of starting work.
• Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience in cybersecurity operations.
• Certification compliant with DoD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II and CSSP Analyst Certification.
• Ability to work 1 or more of 5 work shifts.

Nice-to-haves

• IAT Level III certification.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• 5+ years of related CSOC tier 2 or 3 work experience.
