About the position

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst to join our team supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in Columbus, OH. This position is crucial in reviewing, consolidating, and developing cybersecurity policies in accordance with DLA requirements. The ideal candidate must be fully versed in the general tenets supporting the overall Department of Defense (DOD) implementation of its cybersecurity policies, procedures, and processes. The role involves providing technical support and assistance to DLA and assessing IT policies, standards, guidelines, or procedures to ensure a balance of security and operational requirements. Additionally, the Cybersecurity Policy Analyst will be responsible for briefing senior management on cybersecurity policy changes, updates, and progress, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with the latest developments in cybersecurity policy.

Responsibilities

• Review, consolidate, and develop cybersecurity policy in accordance with DLA requirements.
• Provide technical support and assistance to DLA regarding cybersecurity policies, procedures, and processes.
• Assess IT policies, standards, guidelines, or procedures to ensure a balance of security and operational requirements.
• Brief senior management on cybersecurity policy changes, updates, and progress.

Requirements

• Seven (7) years of relevant cybersecurity policy experience.
• DoD Top Secret clearance with an IT-I eligible investigation.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (One of the following): CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH.
• Computing Environment Certification (One of the following): ACAS, AWS CSA Associate, AWS CSA Professional, AWS CS Specialty, AWS CSO Admin Associate, EnCE, GIAC, GDSA, GIAC GMON, GIAC GPCS, GIAC GSOC, GIAC GSOM, GIAC GREM, HPE WebInspec.
