About the position

The Cybersecurity Power BI Developer position at State Street Bank & Trust Co. is focused on leveraging data visualization and business intelligence to enhance global cybersecurity projects. The role involves collaborating with various teams to solve complex cybersecurity challenges by translating data into actionable insights through effective visualizations. The developer will play a crucial role in the GCS metrics & reporting team, contributing to the development of key metrics, reports, and dashboards that inform strategy and operations across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Translating a wide array of information and building data visualizations that are accessible, easy to understand, and actionable.
• Assisting with reviewing user feedback, planning improvements, and building a wide range of data visualizations.
• Updating and improving existing data visualizations and creating new data visualizations.

Requirements

• A portfolio of nonconfidential dashboards that showcases your work.
• At least 7 years of professional experience or equivalent in building data visualizations with Microsoft Power BI.
• Advanced skill level with DAX & M scripting, debugging Power BI errors, star schema, Power Query, row level security, integrating Power BI and Power Automate, loading and transforming data from databases and APIs, building custom visuals, predictive analytics.

Nice-to-haves

• Microsoft Power BI certification(s) or equivalent.
• Advanced skill level with data visualization best practices, user interface design, accessibility, design thinking, user experience.
• Familiarity with python, design thinking, agile, cybersecurity metrics.
