About the position

The Microsoft Power BI Developer will play a crucial role in the GCS metrics & reporting team, focusing on transforming data into actionable insights for global cybersecurity projects. This position involves collaboration with various experts to solve complex cybersecurity challenges and enhance data visualization practices within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Translating a wide array of information and building data visualizations that are accessible, easy to understand, and actionable.
• Assisting with reviewing user feedback, planning improvements, and building a wide range of data visualizations.
• Updating and improving existing data visualizations and creating new data visualizations.

Requirements

• A portfolio of nonconfidential dashboards that showcases your work.
• At least 7+ years of professional experience or equivalent in building data visualizations with Microsoft Power BI.
• Advanced skill level with DAX & M scripting, debugging Power BI errors, star schema, Power Query, row level security, integrating Power BI and Power Automate, loading and transforming data from databases and APIs, building custom visuals, predictive analytics.

Nice-to-haves

• Microsoft Power BI certification(s) or equivalent.
• Advanced skill level with data visualization best practices, user interface design, accessibility, design thinking, user experience.
• Familiarity with Python, design thinking, agile, cybersecurity metrics.
